Android 14 Going Live Soon on CAMON 20 Series!

At its global developer conference in the first half of 2023, Google unveiled the Android 14 operating system, which delivers significant improvements in privacy, security, performance, and user customization. Following the release, TECNO became one of the select groups of brands for early access to the system upgrade program. Now, with the global launch of TECNO’s much-anticipated annual flagship product – CAMON 20 Series – starting in May, users will enjoy the privilege of being among the first to experience this remarkable new OS!

According to the launch plan, in September, CAMON 20 Premier 5G is expected to be the first model to launch with the Google Android 14 Beta version (HiOS 13.6). By then, users around the world will begin to receive upgrade notifications.

Starting from the second quarter of 2024, CAMON 20 Pro 5G, CAMON 20 Pro, and CAMON 20 will also initiate the software upgrade to Android 14 (HiOS 14).

Software Upgrade of CAMON 19 Series!

CAMON is dedicated to providing a smooth user experience for its entire global user base, including existing users. For the CAMON 19 Series, we also promise an upgrade to the HiOS 13 software version. Currently, the upgrade for CAMON 19 Pro 5G has been completed globally. Other models have also been added to the upgrade program. Starting from June 2023, the software upgrade will be gradually rolled out, allowing users to experience the latest version of the software.

How to Update Android 14 in Tecno Camon 20 Premier’s

1. Open the Settings menu on Tecno Camon 20 Premier.

2. In this step, Find and Select the Software Update option. Or, search Software Update on the search box.

3. Next, you can see the latest software version, if available.

4. Now, Tap on the download button.

5. Next, the software is being downloaded and wait for a while.

6. Once the download is complete, click on Verify and Install.

7. Then, you can see a popup message “To install upgrades, you need to restart your phone. Do you want to continue”?

8. After that, Tap on the OK option.

9. Your phone will restart and set up the new software.
